I am totally knew to this type of monitoring system Thanks for taking your time to make my life so much easier when dealing with the hook up. I'm a solo singer/guitarist, so I think this system will serve my purpose perfectly! I'm using a simple Mackie Pro FX12 Version 2 and an HK Polar 10 column. Where should I connect the transmitter? ........ to the headphone jack or monitor out to get best results. (I'm revealing just how little I know about this new venture.) Thanks again for the awesome video!

I have three transmitters and the receiver. I use several guitars and it's really convenient as you turn one off and turn the next one on. It's that simple and I don't have to unplug and plug in any of the guitars I'm using. I started using channel 4 because another guitar player in our band has been using channel 1. I got a pretty bad amount of interference and drop outs on channel 4. I switched to channel 3 at rehearsal tonight and it worked fine. I have a fairly big show Saturday so that will be the test. We're now using channels 1, 2 & 3 in our band. I hope it works. Has anyone else had any problems with channel 4?

Well done. thanks for making the video. very little difference. Jimmy Page said he used to break fewer strings when running them through the bridge. the holes in the bridge on the through-body bridges place the strings at a sharp angle without a smooth transition to the saddles.

you must sand in between EVERY layer, from the beginning. You must start with a filler, then a ground and then colour and then clearcoat. Buy from CROP in Rotterdam

my eyebrows went up with the amount of glue on a new nut, without checking it first ....you lucked out. all you need is one drop, on one side; then check it, and wick a little in on the other end if it's good...if not, it's just the one drop and you can knock it back out.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have been wanting to dip my toes into midi guitar to emulate other instruments/synths, but have been unsure on the best route. I'd love to know what you think the best midi pickup is for this application. Ideally something that works well live through something like the GR-55 but also into a DAW for tracking orchestral instruments, midi drums, piano, etc. I've heard/read both great and terrible things about the Fishman triple play so I've been hesitant to purchase one.

I got a Cort KX500 Etched Violet and I had no fret sprout or ringing notes. However, I had to polish the frets to get rid of the grit paper feeling when doing bends and vibrato. Very good guitar that's gig worthy 100%!

With this video i notice that i like 1,2,3 string's toploader and 4,5,6 thru.why treble strings slinkier,more twang and for the other 3 string's more deep low end and thighter feel

Great attention to detail! I just got the U4/T9 package as a birthday present from my wife. I have not tried it out. I'm hoping the 2.4 GHz issue isn't too problematic. I will try to have the transmitter near me via an XLR cable from the snake return. It's a bit overwhelming.
